Our youngest co-op student. She was taking my picture with that green block in her hands and I took one of her! She's been in the U.S. less than a year and is already very comfortable with English.
She's lovely. My good friend here in my town just adopted a little boy from Taiwan in the past year; they already adopted a girl from China and have two bio girls as well. He is almost three and is coming along beautifully with his English -- they're such sponges at this age!
