On Saturday I drove beside this river (bayou) on my way to pick up dd from a sleepover. I got a kick out of the fast food place, Lousiana style!
Beautiful grads, inside and out! I've had the privilege of teaching each of these kids literature and writing in homeschool co-op, a couple since they were six years old!
My dh and a Chinese friend we had over for supper. Tao is returning to China tomorrow after a year here. He's a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine and has been here doing research in a lab.

Love the bayou photos ... and I'll bet you're proud of those kids!
You packed a lot into those photos -- yea, water is a big part of your life, eh? And I'll bet there are some bittersweet feelings about sending those grads off -- AND seeing your Chinese friend go back to his country.
