We had eggs for breakfast this a.m. and as I opened the carton I thought how pretty they were. I buy free range eggs every week from a friend ($1/dozen!) and they come in a variety of colors. The ones that look white here are actually a lovely pale blue.

The different shades of the eggs are very pretty. I wish I could buy some free range eggs for that price.
Self portraits with a camera are hard. How did you get such a clear shot of yourself?
Those eggs are really pretty and what a great price.
I thought about doing a self-portrait today but never got around to it. Did you use a timer to get yours?
Both photos are gorgeous!
$1 a dozen for free range eggs is a steal!! I opened the photo up to get a better view of the eggs and you. Hey, that rhymes. :-)

One day I want to have chickens again...or maybe just a friend who will sell me free range eggs. :-)
The bowl's pattern adds just the right touch!
(and that's a great photo of you)
The egg photo is wonderful, Becky! Don't let your friend read these comments or she may be tempted to up the low price she charges you. ;-)
Nice self-portrait, too.
Great photos. I haven't thought about doing a self-portrait -- concerned it might not come out quite right (or at least as good as I think it would in my mind). Will have to see about that.
The egg photo is great; you can variety in life in so many places.....

The eggs are a wonderful shot. Your self-portrait is great too.
nice ones
I agree that the bowl is perfect for the eggs & what a steal!
I love the egg photo. Really gorgeous. And you are too. :) I tried to do one today and the reflection wasn't strong enough. I'll try again tomorrow. Yours is great.
About the self portrait. I simply looked in a mirror and took it and then cropped it.
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. Now I'm wondering if I should offer my friend more money for the eggs! :0
