Everything I Do, I Do for You

There's someone around here who revels in the cold weather: our dog, Missy. She's the perfect dog for us and is a good watchdog, is great with children, and is "polite." She waits until we leave to eat and she has never jumped on people. She's getting older, but still has plenty of energy.

Someday I'm going to try to get a picture of her chasing (on the ground) the squirrels who run overhead on the phone and power wires!

Did I know your dog's name was Missy? My very first dog (which I had for the first 16 years of my life) was a toy fox terrier named Missy. She was a sweetie. Pets are such good friends.

She is very pretty. Both of our dogs usually like the cold too, it makes them frisky. There is not much better than a well trained polite dog.

Aww, I just love seeing everyone's non-human family members...

She looks like a sweetie pie! I am sure Zach would love to visit her to chase squirrels together. Whenever I let him out and he spots a squirrel, he darts across the lawn and chases it up a tree.

Great shot of Missy!

We had black bean soup last night, as the weather here had turned very, very cold! It was delicious and perfect for the weather. I was going to make corn muffins, too, but life got in the way and I didn't get around to it - but the soup was still delicious! I love the shot you took of all the bright colors in the darker pot!
