With the frigid temperatures outdoors, it was a day designed for a fire and soup. I made black bean soup for supper and the veggies sauteeing looked colorful and warm. . Can you smell them? And dd made a fire and we had school in front of it.
What I can really smell is the smoke from the fire, and the nice heat that it's giving off. Maybe with a few cedar chips thrown in for additional nice scent....

I missed this one yesterday. Love the fire picture. I could use it right now! And black bean soup is my favorite.
