For me actually posting self-portraits is so hard. I plan on stretching myself by doing at least one a week this year. Your shot gives me an extra boost of courage :)
I agree with Sandie's comments--I found the self-portrait REALLY hard to do (hard to POST). I think I have a picture inside myself of how I look to the world and the photo captures a "me" I don't completely recognize! Also, it is hard to have anything but a serious expression on your face when you are trying to orient a camera, your body and a mirror! I have always been a big fan of the written word and of letters (remember those?) because I think the soul can shine through more easily in that medium. Pictures are more....static, one-dimensional.

Self-portraits are so hard and even harder to put up. I like it tho. Very real. And it's good to see your beautiful face!
