Very pretty! Loved seeing the martins in their house. Do you know the name of the flower in the first picture? We have those in our yard too and I've often wondered what they're called.
I think I've found the name (of the top flower) - it's a tradescantia ohiensis, commonly known as spiderwort. I also saw it referenced as bluejacket. My curiousity got the best of me ;-) - thought you'd want to know too!
Thanks, Sandy. I didn't know, so I'm glad you told me! The spiderwort was in our yard in the old house and I pulled some up and brought it with me because I loved it so much. It grew like a weed there and seems to be doing well here, too.
