If there's any flower that says "spring" in the deep South it's the azaleas. These are from our yard. We have many more that will be blooming in the next few weeks.
Oh these are so beautiful. THese we do NOT have in Africa and I don't think in Minnesota either-- or at least not for long! I got to spend two springs in South Carolina, and LOVED the azaelias... This is a lovely picture.
Oh, I miss the azaleas in Mobile -- 10 years of living in azalea central really gets to you in a positive way! Nice memories; thanks for putting this beautiful picture up.
What brilliant blooms! I've never been able to keep an azalea alive. My husband has bought me some awesome colours, but the first winter steals them. I have one in the ground now that i've been nurturing all summer and the first month of autumn [I'm in Australia] and if it survives this winter coming, i'll be posting snaps too!! Fingers crossed for me!
OOOOOOOooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh!! Take my breath away. These are so gorgeous, and the sunlight on them is over the top. I can't wait til we get flowers up here. Not even a hint of them yet.

We. Have. Flowers.
Finally.
Hooray! I'm glad your azaleas are blooming so beautifully.
Gorgeous!
I'm swooning. I'm such a southern girl at my core.
The color is really pretty! I can't wait to see them around here!

These are very cheerful! We still don't have many flowers although I did see a few crocuses in the yard this week.
It's so much fun to see flowers in these blogs. The lighting on this photo is gorgeous, Becky.

I should clarify that. There are green things poking up out of the ground here, just no sign of actual blooms yet. Soon!!
